What can we do for you?

The Southington Public Library has been an integral part of the community for over 115 years. From 1902 to 1975 the Library  was housed in a Carnegie Mellon-style building which is still standing just across the street from the current building.  When the Library outgrew that space a new building was erected at 255 Main Street. Plans are now underway for a much needed expansion of the current space.

Though working within an under-sized building has its challenges, the staff of the Southington Public Library is dedicated to providing the highlest level of service possible to members of our community. The Library offers free programs and services designed to meet the specific needs of our town and we welcome comments and suggestions on how we can better serve  Southington.

Come to the Library and let us know what we can do for you to enrich the quality of your life here in our town.
